I haven't used that website my self. All I know is if you suspect a SS is underway and you're a short seller you better be careful lest you get your face ripped off. edit: I just notice this is in the options forum,I dont trade those.
Use Finviz screener. Of course, you are looking for a needle at a haystack. I have tried Finviz to try and find a stock before it gaps up. Pretty hard to do. There is a criteria for float short. The more short positions a stock has, a good positive catalyst can suddenly, spike prices.
Read my previous reply. Short squeeze can only be known AFTER THE FACT. You would not know it was a short squeeze until it happens. In another word, nobody can accurately predict short squeeze in advance (and those who say they do are either lying or don't know what the hell they're talking about.) Second, a short squeeze and a rally are the two faces of the same token. You cannot have one without the other. So if you know when the stock is about to rally, then you also know when the short squeeze will happen. Lastly, don't be a cheap ass. You cannot make money with after the fact information.
Use to be a thing looking for high short interest stocks for the next big squeeze. It's just not a viable strategy anymore. Retail ain't gonna squeeze the instuitions anymore when they keep tabs on the reddit/wsb boards.
