I am tempted to dip in but here but expecting a longer pullback down to $120-$130 for PLTR which could knock price down to 60's or less with the vol contracting...

  2. I will check…
For PLTR itself. My expectations it will shrink if war R-U will be over.
However, I doubt, it will happen too soon.
But by speculation on Friday or before it may shrink and you may buy discounted
    PLTY ;)

Inflation has broken out again, and there will be rich profits in the next week - is it good or more painful?

The Consumer Price Index (CPI) has just reached the largest increase in six months, and tariffs have become headlines again.

Technology giants released their financial results this week, and the Federal Reserve is still calm and unwilling to cut interest rates.

My portfolio fluctuates violently like emoji stocks... Does anyone else feel this way?

Is this a strategy to buy at a low price, or is it the beginning of something worse?

  4. Let me share my point of view on buying these xxxY.
    Three points:
    1) It should cover by yields 100% your expenses within a year or closer.
Short time will lower risk of this xxxY to become a garbage.
    2) Price analysis should be right. If price would shrink faster than yield rises,
    you should leverage your price.
    3) Check stability of xxxY yield from the past.
When you cover your expenses, you don’t care about price. As long as it pays dividends, you will get it “forever” ;) !!!

Also the rule of thumb (youtube) is a high yield dividend should be returning your initial investment as monthly income by year 4 if you do full drip...so if you invest 5k into something, then in year 4 with full drip 5k should be your monthly income.

You can test this on Dripcalc.com

MSTY - at the end of year 4 you have 4448 shares so that's almost 5k per month at @1 coupon.

  6. I know this rule. In case of xxxY I would enforce this rule to get your expenses in less than two years. Also, I would take dividends as cash, not to invest on the same s..t.
The reason, because at some point this investment will become as garbage.
Take your cash back and your personal risk to loose YOUR money is ZERO.
    Don’t be greedy ;)
In my opinion, you are well prepared to use this method and get well rewarded.
Also, great you share your experience - more smart people will get it and it works for all of us.

  7. The rule is buy low sell high.
If you are looking for somebody to tell you about markets directions.
It’s mostly 50/50 up or down.

  8. Look at KSS this is gaining %% on three days in the row.
    Nobody likes to short ?

Dont look like a particularly good candidate for a short to me. Now whatever caused that pop on 7/22 now THAT was a short!

There is a strategy called the parabolic short.
Something that goes up +100% in less than a week.
Preferably still under / at the 200 sma ? Short the reversal.
