Short/fade trades can be an extremely profitable strategy. I only have about 3 strategies I use regularly and fade trades are one of them. I've only done about 30 trades this year and I'm sure more than half were shorts.

If 3M retailers will do the same consolidated move…who knows. Beside they are directed and controlled by experienced person in initial move. I won’t be surprised for KSS short/gamma squeeze, for example.
way over my head and pay grade... i am setting up to actually trade every stock there is so anything that is not price is ignored no matter what. it's a shotgun approach to breakdown trading based on derivatives of price velocity.
