When you go on any stock website (yahoo finance, marketwatch,etc). How recent is the short interest data. Is it updated everyday, every three weeks, etc. I like short squeeze trades, but how do you know if you find a stock with a short ratio of 10, the shorts havent already covered and the number is just not updated on the website?
Well they JUST started reporting every 2 weeks, so the info should only be 2 weeks old ... then again they don't always get the info out on time either. I find the nasdaq.com the best. Type in symbol and use the dropdown to "short interest" There are plenty of websites that talk about short squeezes ...
