any one else short the real estate guys? home bulders construction, home improvement retailers, mortages, and the like? does anyone think these guys have a chance in 2006?
thanks man. yeah. short 500 dhi and 500 hov from friday. up $3200 today in only a $20k account (margin)! but that just makes up for getting my head beat in last week trying to do the same thing. I think DHI is announcing on thursday??
dont do what? Still short the whole position...not much action the past week. recovered a bit form a 10% fall which is to be expected. Today i lost 1% in DHI due to an AMAZING earnings report. but if it only went up 1% on such amazing numbers...i feel 80% my direction and timing is correct. 1% up on good news...10% down on mildly bad news. think i am going to stay short.
