Eh, I have to admit that the last time I went out we had couple of St. Emilion 1989 bottles. I guess, we all liked the idea of fresh 22 y old, . Then we followed with MonteCristo cigars but I'm not big fun so I didn't participate.
Gonzalez-Paramo said there is a need for âmore economic and financial integration for the euro area, with a significant transfer of sovereignty to the EMU level over fiscal, structural and financial policies.â He said the ECBâs role is to preserve price stability and the purchasing power of the euro, not to be a lender of last resort for governments. Market participants who call for that âmay care only about the nominal value of their assets and the need to avoid losses,â Gonzalez-Paramo said. âWhether or not the underlying asset -- our currency as store of value -- has been depreciated seems unimportant to them. But survey after survey shows that the people, the citizens of the euro area, want price stability.â In questions after his speech, Gonzalez-Paramo said that common bonds for the region will exist in future even if âat this point in time they would not be commensurate with the degree of integration in the euro area.â âIf you have a euro bond without a common budget, you are offering an easy way out for countries,â he said. http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2011-...d-step-toward-fiscal-union-to-end-crisis.html Let´s wait another 6 months and the come back to the ECB "academics". What people want is jobs and money they can pay their bills. They give a rats a$$ about inflation.
Until now it was like: If I spend money and you give me money for free I'll spend them too and ask for more money, right? In general, it is not a question of jobs or inflation, all of this is lost fight at the moment. It should be about change in the system to make it sustainable. Speaking of jobs: I was just put at risk few days ago ... . It is a nice Christmas present, don't you think? I guess I'll take few weeks of holidays and then try to find reasonable job ... or start trading full time (that will be tough).
