The trap was laid in BTH when I posted this thread: http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/printthread.php?threadid=247545 If you don't bother to click on the link, I rec'd the stock at $36 or something and it went to $46 two days later. I got a little cocky and then when the stock went back to $25 (after selling out at $42) I bought back in. In addition I'd done well in the stock before. Otherwise I have no interest in buying dumpers and don't do it. Like I said above, a royal ball buster.
Hi Billy. If you hold for weeks, how do you deal with the settlement? If you are down with your position at the closure, your account will be debited for this amount and re-open with the settlement price.Am i correct?
I don't really know. I had problems with settlement before moving to IB, but that was only when I sold within the 3-day settlement period. Otherwise never had a problem.
BONT is interesting. http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=BONT&p=W&b=5&g=0&id=p89419428967 Nice coil on the weekly chart with decent volume. Recently broke out of the coil. Trading at .10 of sales, debt recently retunred to par, so EV of .43/sales, much cheaper than competitors. Still huge short interest so combustible combination of valuation/chart/short interest.
LOL. Really ? IMO, Nodoji has to be one of the most knowledgable and generous traders here. Obviously our opinion of value and gratitude differ.
