To clarify my position, I'd like to say that I think diversity is a fine, and usually benneficial element to have in a society. Multiculturalism, on the other hand, is a trainwreck. Many uber leftists often act as if they are the same thing. That to be opposed to "multiculturalism" is to be opposed to diveristy, and even to be racist. This is a non sequitur logical faclacy, and a character assasination/mccarthyism tool of the far left. A society can be diverse without being multicultural. Diversity is when a Jamacian comes and performs raggae music or sells you jerked chicken, but still adheres to the customs, rules, and societal standards of your society. "Multiculturalism" is when a group or groups expects you to adhere to and respect their customs, values, and rules which they imported from their homeland. Such as having their own seperate courts which enforce their own laws, or wanting you to celebrate or recognize their national flags or holidays. If they don't want to adhere to the societal standards of a different nation, they shouldn't settle in that nation. Diversity is benign, and often benneficial. Multicultralism is a dysfunctional trainwreck.

Every nation has a right to enforce whatever immigration policy they see fit. The issue is when one nation demands others practice liberal immigration policies they do not. For instance, Israel. Jews are welcome. Everyone else? Not so much. Then Israel cries antisemitism when G8 nations don't fall over to accept Jews. It's total hypocrisy. China, Japan, the Middle East and Israel are notoriously xenophobic to foreigner citizenship. That's their right. Just as it is America's or Canada's right to cut immigration from any European, Middle Eastern or Asian state, including Israel. The problem with multiculturalism is the massive influx of foreigners end up changing the adoptive Country more than it changes immigrants. The result is upped corruption, taxes, welfare-state handouts and criminality. The other problem is most foreigners maintain their allegiance to their homeland first, above and beyond their adoptive Country. This is especially true for Jews, although not always the case. When a foreigner becomes Canadian or American, they become an American First. Or a Canadian First. If any immigrant has a problem with that (Jew and Gentile alike) they should go back to where they came from. The thing is, old-line North Americans inherited a Country their ancestors built, fought and DIED for. This Country is literally OUR inheritance bequeathed to us by the sacrifice of our ancestors. Not to be squandered and pissed away by the bleeding-heart left or some heavy-handed Government demanding we treat the Country like a two dollar whore and let the entire world have a turn. This is partly why all the "hate-crime" laws are being tabled - to backstop open-door immigration policies most Americans (and Canadians) are extremely critical of.

There are also many Christians, and asian/oriental migrant workers. The majority of Israel are Sephardic Jews, followed by Ashkenazi Jews. There is a broad plethora of ethnicities in Israel. It's only about 75% Jewish. (Obviously much less jewish than saudi or iran is muslim, or even less than italy is cathiolic. ) To suggest that Israel wants Jewish immigration to the USA, or that Israel wants massive 3rd world immigration to the USA is irretrievably stupid.
