If she qualifies as a public figure (I never heard of her before this, but maybe she does?) then it will be impossible. You can say pretty much whatever you want about a public figure, because of free speech protections. Defamation really only applies to folks not in the public eye.
I agree. She is a public figure. Also, although the video was edited, it did show that she had learned from her bigoted ways. She has a much stronger case for unlawful termination.
Agreed, but how could there be defamation from her own words? Edited or not Edited. There is plenty of edited clips coming our way with the elections cycle coming up, on every political ad on the tube left or right.
