The ECBOT supports native stop orders. Not many other electronic exchanges allow limitless stops. Most only support limit orders and stop limit orders. On these other exchanges the problem of cascading stops causing these types of spikes is less likely. For the most part ECBOT will soon be history, although i think they might keep it around for certain products that they cant move to Globex such as as gold (due to NYMEX using Globex for gold).
Are you saying the ECBOT can run your stops and give you worst fills, whereas other systems will only fill at your price what are native stops?
