Shares Broker

  1. Thanks Orang Trad, very long and informative post.
I had a quick look at the list of brokers you provided.

Internaxx seems very very expensive indeed, 28 EUR per order, that's crazy.

By the way, I am from Belgium and have an interest in French shares but had a look at some US brokers and believe I will invest in US shares actually.

WHselfinvest looks great but they do CFDs only, not shares, so it's not for me.

I made some research and found MBtrading.
They seem very professional, commissions are $$ upto 10,000 shares. What do you think of this broker. is there anything cheaper?

    Thanks

    Shortbleu,
You are forgetting the imposition rate of 30% on the gains you may realise on the transactions of US stocks. If I remember right, there are no taxes on stock market related gains in Belgium, so you better take this parameter into account.

  4. Given the high correlations between the US and other markets, why not just buy US ETFs if they are cheaper?

  5. Who does he pay the 30% to? Foreigners don't pay tax to IRS.

  6. Have you looked at Boursorama ? Did some research a while back and tehy seemed the best of the lot.
Swissquote is Swiss obviously, that's another one. Expensive (Swiss eh) but good range of services.
