TraDaToR, thanks for the reply. The thread that you linked to turned up one possible source that had minute-by-minute futures data at a reasonable price, Pi Trading. Unfortunately, they didn't have the CL, but did have the US and GC contracts. So that's an option to keep in mind. Right now I'm working with CSI to clarify their product. It looks like they have an offering of the electronic contracts daily data with "last in settle", which I take to mean that the last trade is used where the settle would normally be. But I don't know that for sure, so I need to verify it. If I can get the data already formatted like I want from them, that will save me some work, plus they will provide the data going forward. I'll continue digging into this and post what the final outcome is.
