I think it is a good idea to impose a 'mandatory' stop loss...perhaps this would mitigate against some of the ridiculous open trade DD's supported by Forexgear at present. However in the event that I did not wish to use the 'mandatory' SL, can I manually change this?

I think it is bad, for me. I enter in game with one rules, and this is don't good change the rules at the game. Ones forexgear is return from -380 pips, may by it is part of strategy? Fxdd is set stop loss, but the signal provider don't has this stop loss and will continue his trade. If you want "help" to traders, let's do minimum lot to 0.01 for many strategies for minimum deposit.

PS: Yes, i will manual cancel mandatory stop-loss!!! :)

  3. the platform is not wholly reliable...a friend used it with what was 2 profitable providers....started well enough only to have the platform not closing the trades when the providers already did...

first month profits wiped out....the signals which the platform failed to exit were profitable, he checked it with another site where the providers were...

be warned, you can't leave this running on auto....

    Hi,
Yes, you can modify stop loss or take profit at any time, it will not affect the exit.

    Hi,
We are not responsible for 3rd Party sites or performance posted on those sites. Our platform performance reflects trades sent the signal provider.

For those who are interested you can follow a blog of a live client to assess for themselves platform efficiency:

  6. the problem is not what the 3rd party sites were posting...but rather after a certain date, none of the trades were close, but new ones were opened, for both providers..so it's apparent something was wrong with the platform, not the signals...

    Hi,
It is possible that the signal provider in question may have >1 open position simultaneously.

  8. not likely, only one signal each time and the unclosed trades occur for both different providers after the same day.

    FX-Auto,
Some time ago, I requested that the Portfolio Builder permit Custom Dates (instead of only last month, last 3 months etc). I was told that would come with the next update. Can you give us an indication of whether that is still planned, and if so when we can expect it? I think it would be helpful for choosing systems.
    Thanks,

    Hi Barry,
A new release of the platform with customized dates is due in the next few weeks.
