  2. oh, okay.. i read right over the fixed fractional option in the pdf guide. that makes sense. so i can't set a specific pip stop amount, but i can set a percentage stop per trade. that'll work. thanks guys.

    Hi Guys,
To clear the confusion, you can modify the stop loss on a pending order (limit or stop order) or active order, you cannot preset the stop loss value on trade that is not live yet, either in the market or pending.

You can attach a trailing stop loss to the trade when opened VIA the MT3 platform. You will see the same trades in Auto client as MT3.

You can preset a %risk of your account to a trade by fixed fractional but is only relevant for signal provider who is using a rigid stop, e.g FXmaster always using 80pips Stop loss, the software will calculate what size of lot to trade in order for you to risk a % of your account BASED on the stop loss of the signal provider.
If you put 30 pips in fixed ratio the software will assume the signal provider is using a 30pip stop loss and allocate the lot size accordingly. If the signal arrives with 90pips Stop loss then your risk is 3 X greater, this is why Fixed ratio not ideal for signal provider with dynamic stop losses.

By having trade notification by email, allows you time to alter the stop loss if you desire to move it.

    Hi,
This is because the Demo version does not show a) pending limit order or b) stop loss values, this is on purpose to avoid signal misuse.
It is not possible to move stops on the demo version.

"I tried to pin him down for a 5th time, and he gave a half-hearted 'yes' but you have to go live to see the feature.. then quickly changed the subject again."

...I just opened a live account, and while inputing/deleting signals I ended locking up my balance, now how can I fix that...

...however I did look in the trades history, and found that there's an open manual trade, could this be the problem?

    Hi Autoben,
We are not too sure what you mean by "locking up your balance".
Have you any signal providers in your portfolio at present?
All you are required to do is add the strategy you like into the "your portfolio", hit SET then APPLY,
There is no need to input/delete, input/delete, you only need to add once,
See attached client portfolio for demonstration.

    Regards,

  9. Autoben,

I don't know if this will help.

When you go live and add systems, the current open trades for the systems you selected do not open in your account.
You have to wait until the next "trade open" signal.

That is why you see the same balance.

I hope this is what you are asking.
