  2. I don't know why you are trying to destroy a good thread started with a good call

if you had been trading CAD for months you know it hadn't hardly moved until OP noticed a bottom on his charts

I just chimed in because I almost always have a position on in CAD, and I don't trade charts

at anyrate, it was a good call down at the bottom if you wanted to get long

I think just about every CAD trade I posted was mediocre at best, if I wanted to post bullshit I could have done much better

I'm done with you and your kind

I usually have a position on in just about everything

If you ever want to know where I am long from or short from, just ask

and I always have a stop in unless it has gotten so out of hand it doesn't matter any more

    just ask

I'm not destroying a good thread. I'm establishing your credibility.

So far you have none. Ergo all your threads/"calls" are by default, shit.

  4. The 1h chart of the USD/CAD, of course.

By the way, on the daily chart the loonie is forming a nice triple top...

  5. yeah, it gets exciting up there at 700
unlike a stock that can trade at zero or 1000
a currency needs to trade at some sort of reasonable exchange rate, or it destroys two economies

  6. Compared to the US dollar, some currencies are almost near zero, so to speak. For example 1 Vietnamese Dong = 0.000047 US Dollar

Here are some of them (slide show)...

  7. for those of you playing along at home

    I was long from 611
closed that out at 688, nice (05:19:16)

    then the beginning of sorrows

short full load at 689 (05:22:05)

since then, it's just been a trail of tears

    stopped out 25% at 1.07148 8:32:51

entered a stop to re enter at 691

    and a stop loss

    stopped out another 25% 1.07408 10:02:00

entered a stop to re enter at 1.07180

    stopped out another 25% at 1.07660 14:59:29

entered another stop to re enter at 1.07475

and there it will trade, no stops min position on, and never again get added to unless it hits one of my entry stops (which are never moved), and then I will add another stop loss

so my average is 689 and I will add again at 1.07475, so I guess if I get filled I will have averaged down

I have 4 positions on now, and all 4 of them are losers at the moment

In spite of all that, it's been one hell of a profitable January so far

  8. otherwise, I don't know anybody who thought it could trade so easily here above 700

    that USD is getting strong

I figure 78 to 83 on the DX
    that's traditional
anything outside of that is no man's land

    who knows on EUR?

    140 tops?

that old 137 cap was broken once we absorbed the taper

    how low can AUD go?

8 handle use to be considered low, no more

I'd hate to have to make a living trading nothing but GBP

    thank g-d it's just a minimum position

    but I just saw a 972 print

what the hell is going on with that Loonie?
