I am currently using Azure because I get credits from work but I am also using AWS CloudWatch which can run on any machine and I use for notifications. Setup is: Algo System Logs Structured Events -> AWS CloudWatch -> AWS Lambda parses events -> Send to Slack channel This same setup is used to setup AWS metric alerts on "Health Check" events and send to Slack in the event the system is down.
