Sourdough was 2nd on the list right behind Ezekiel, so that is as good as it gets and having an actual taste too. We all gonna die sooner than we expect so you may as well enjoy the time left.
Sure, but the idea is to learn to enjoy healthier alternatives. I know a few people who have disregarded their health in pursuit of that very enjoyment of which you speak. But you're right. Second on the list ain't bad (assuming your list is accurate!). And so next time I go by that bakery I'll order the walnut sourdough bread sliced thin, since I cannot be trusted to cut appropriate slices. You win.
Just wait until you see what kind of cake I am ordering from a French bakery for Christmas! https://lagourmandinebakery.com L' Automne Butterscotch mousse with layers of pecan custard, vanilla sponge cake, and shortcrust. I think the general message should be, do everything in moderation.
Looks quite good. From my bakery: Ingredients: 70% cocoa dark chocolate brownie, chocolate and raspberry mousse made of 64% Ariaga dark chocolate by Valrhona and Chambord raspberry liqueur, chocolate crumble, raspberry jam. I order it for birthdays and special occasions. It is better than any cake I have ever had. Ever! I only have a very thin slice. But it's a fairly small cake, so the other folks also indulging are grateful for my heroic self-control.
I have the older version. Very reasonable price and it works great imo. I use it to mix, knead and rise then bake in an oven, about half the time. Works fine baking in the machine too. Very convenient if you don't want to get bowls, counter and hands dirty mixing and kneading.
