    The market isn't zero sum.

Trillions in wealth are being destroyed just like trillions were created during the bull market.

  2. Trillions of paper wealth! IT can simply be disappear VS tangible hard commodities. structural shift is about half the way. you remember the 2000 bubble and hysteria. think opposite. hard to imagine but that is the direction for paper assets. the ebb and flow ....

Hard asset wealth can be destroyed too. If you own physical gold and it goes from $1000 to $800/Oz then your wealth has been reduced.

money isnt destroyed its just transferred. it is not even destroyed during bankruptcy. because when you dont have the money to pay back the debt, the money you have spent on something else it has dispersed into society. Money itself can only be destroyed when they burn paper bills or delete electronic numbers. There must be winners somewhere. Probably CEO's or real-estate people.

also keep in mind stocks do not have definite wealth. the wealth didnt exist in the first place, because a stock is only worth as much as somebody is willing to pay for it. If you own 100 google stock, it was never worth 70k. It just appeared to be worth 70k.

Money and wealth are not the same thing. Wealth can be destroyed and created.
