i emailed nasd for you and they said bankruptcy or credit is not an automatic disqualification but you have to report one that occurred in last ten years
BK is OK I had 1 out of the 30 or so states in which I was registered object to my recent BK. They were only concerned about possible misuse of discretionary trading authority due to current financial hardship - ie churn up client comissions to pay the bills. A simple letter stating that I was just an order-taker was enough to get the state's approval. You will always have a thick U4 folder, because you have to include copies of the BK filing. Mine was 50 pages or so.
