Series 7 License

I know that the Series 7 license Expires after 2 years if you are not trading.Is it 2 years after you leave your last Prop Firm or 2 years after you do your last trade.

 

2 years after you got your U-5

 

It's 2 years from the date on your U-5, but you can contact your State securities board and get some help scheduling your continuing ed. You don't have to be with a firm to take it, that's a myth.

 

you better watch out. that continuing ed test was extremely difficult to pass.
