Series 7 Certification

    Series 65 is generally recommended for hedge fund managers, unless you have aspirations of working at a hedge fund what's the point? Keep in mind the creators of pass 7 are trying to sell their study guides. Additionally series 7 is a national test i.e. you can take it anywhere in US, I am not sure 65 is.

    I talked to Maverick guys they only allow you If you attend their training pay them 6k+.

    Any more firm that sponsors Series 7
    if you are ready to bear the sponsorship cost??

    What were you thinking? They are all like that. $6k is a bit excessive compared to others but they almost all have compulsory paid training, its a source of income. I was told Mavericks training is $4k, still excessive.
