Series 3 materials

For those who have already passed the exam and those who are currently working on it:

any recomendation regarding training materials ?

 

Seurities Training Corporation is solid.

 

You don't need sponsorship for the Series 3 do you?

 

no sponsorship needed to take test, but you need to be an Associated Person of a futures firm in order to conduct and get paid on your business.

 

The material from Dearborn is pretty good.

 

What if you plan on opening a CPO?

 

The CPO needs to be registered with the NFA, but it will occur under your registration. You have something like 30 days though. Its much easier than it sounds, call the NFA, they are very helpful.
