    the slides would be at least be of some value if they mentioned how venture capital firms (e.g., sequoia capital) helped create the bubble by coercing the CEOs of their portfolio companies to severely overpay for other portfolio companies, thereby inflating the values of these companies. the purpose of doing so is to give the venture capital firm a nice profit on their "successful exit".
