  2. Yeh right.

Obama will become Jesus about the same time that Joe Biden becomes one of the Three Wise Men and Kamala Harris becomes the Virgin Mary.

Not gonna be next week. I will just leave it at that.

  3. I am shamelessly quoting my own post here. Yeh, I have no shame. But it still just boggles, boggles, boggles my mind that the media- fox included- and some posters here and pundits reported that Joe did himself some good after that last debate. What planet am I on and what planet are you on? It was a disaster beyond comprehension. I seriously thought he was going to leave that debate in a straight jacket at one point. I am not lying to ya. I thought he had lost contact with everything: his brain, his teeth, his mouth, reality, the question was on one planet and his response was on another. It is flat out frigging fugly.

Anyway. Now that people are getting past doing their little covering of his arse, and telling us that his shit does not stink and he is not required to be sane because his numbers are still good, some people are beginning to actually try to analyze and deconstruct the trainwreck to see what was actually said. Unfortunately for Joe, it is the "progressives" who are doing the analyzing and they have found a gift that will be weaponized and stuck up Joe's bo-bo over and over again. No "right wing" media required. No Hannity special although he and the conservatives will pile on. There is after all, a campaign in progress.

Just unbelievable. Biden is asked about his past dismissal of historical slavery etc and its impact on the lives of blacks today AND BIDEN TOLD THE QUESTIONER AT THE DEBATE THAT BLACKS NEED HELP IN LEARNING HOW TO RAISE THEIR KIDS. It may have gotten lost in the rant about record players etc but it is not going away anytime soon. Believe me. Anyone here and in the media and in punditville who thinks that Joe had a good night has their head up their arse. And no, it does not go away if Joe's poll numbers are still up in the next round of polls. Keep in mind, that Joe is betting almost everything on the black vote and once voting begins in the primaries it is about- duh- voting in the primary states. You can't use a national poll to prove that they should have voted for you in that state.

Exhibit A of the lefties beginning to pick through the bone pile of the debate - not the right- the lefties. Expect this issue to NOT go away even though Joe allegedly did himself some good in the debate. Not on my planet.

Overlooked indeed. But not for long. And yes this is a lefty source-below. That;s my frigging point.
Joe's brain exploded and dripped down his leg on stage during the debate and then he handed his progressive rivals the gun to blow the other half of his brains out as they go forward. The gun being his actual reply to the question in the few areas where it could be deciphered. Yet, I was and am told that he had a good night. COMPLETE FUCKING DUMPSTER FIRE ON STEROIDS!!!!!!!

Alright, and yup, that was a double two-shot espresso I just had. As if you cannot tell.

JOE BIDEN’S STUNNINGLY RACIST ANSWER ON THE LEGACY OF SLAVERY HAS BEEN OVERLOOKED

Biden’s answer was staggeringly incoherent, obscuring, to his own benefit, what was, underneath, a horrifyingly racist answer. Here’s his whole response:

Well, they have to deal with the — look, there’s institutional segregation in this country. And from the time I got involved, I started dealing with that. Redlining, banks, making sure we are in a position where — look, you talk about education. I propose that what we take the very poor schools, the Title I schools, triple the amount of money we spend from $15 to $45 billion a year. Give every single teacher a raise to the $60,000 level.

Number two, make sure that we bring in to help the teachers deal with the problems that come from home. The problems that come from home. We have one school psychologist for every 1,500 kids in America today. It’s crazy. The teachers are — I’m married to a teacher, my deceased wife is a teacher. They have every problem coming to them. Make sure that every single child does, does in fact, have 3-, 4- and 5-year-olds go to school. Not day care, school.

We bring social workers into homes of parents to help them deal with how to raise their children. It’s not that they don’t want to help, they don’t want — they don’t know quite what to do. Play the radio, make sure the television — excuse me, make sure you have the record player on at night, the phone — make sure that kids hear words. A kid coming from a very poor school — a very poor background — will hear 4 million words fewer spoken by the time they get there.

The thoroughly racist paternalism came at the end of Biden’s answer, at which point many viewers had likely zoned out. It was not adequately highlighted in post-debate coverage, so it’s worth taking a closer look at.

In response to a question on the legacy of slavery, Biden said: “We bring social workers into homes of parents to help them deal with how to raise their children. It’s not that they don’t want to help, they don’t want — they don’t know quite what to do.”

Author Anand Giridharadas flagged the moment. “Is this not one of the most explicitly racist moments of all time in a Democratic primary debate?” he wondered. “Asked about his past comments denying responsibility, as a white man, for America’s sins, he gives an answer insinuating that black parents don’t know how to raise kids.”

  4. As discussed, here it comes.

It's gonna be the gift that keeps on giving for the far left who want to bring Joe down.

Anand Giridharadas, an author and editor-at-large at Time magazine, described Biden's musing as "a textbook example of the racism that is still respectable.” Veteran political commentator Jeff Greenfield wondered: "Did he mean that black parents depended on an army of white people with degrees to help them raise their kids?"

  5. WTF does this even mean?

We bring social workers into homes of parents to help them deal with how to raise their children. It’s not that they don’t want to help, they don’t want — they don’t know quite what to do. Play the radio, make sure the television — excuse me, make sure you have the record player on at night, the phone — make sure that kids hear words. 6. As I have ranted on about, it is absolutely some of the strangest shiite I have ever heard in a public debate or interview given what the question was. Not sure what question that answer would go with. I just listened to that and, honest to gawd, I thought he was in the middle of a stroke.

Then after the debate I read and heard people - both dems and conservatives- saying that Biden had a good night. Wow, y'all can tell that I am not over it yet.

Just before the part you quoted, Joe answered the question about slavery and white history etc by pointing out- among other things that his wife is a teacher and his deceased wife *IS* a teacher. Houston we got a problem!!

IT WAS A FULL, FULL, FULL TRAINWRECK!!!!

  7. Well to be fair I heard a few, especially one of those guys who retired from 60 minutes, blanking out at the moment, shake his head and say it was a horrible rambling answer that makes no sense. He is retired so I guess he did not give a shit to say the truth. Sam Donaldson maybe, I am too lazy to go look.

  8. Yup, donaldson, I just looked it up and he said that "not since one of Reagan's debates" has he heard anything that bad or words to that effect. Which is what I am saying. I am saying that I am not getting into hyperbole or histrionics or political slamming. I am just saying I have no recollection of seeing something that bad. And donaldson has made a career of following this stuff.

As I said months ago, I wish that we had political betting or that he were a trade-able commodity or something because I wanted to short the shit out of him so bad while his stock was at the top- although it is still near the top. Just insane. I would have done a pairs trade, short Joe and long Pocawarren. I suppose there is some type of legal market on it somewhere in this county. I don't know. I am not up to speed on what has just been talked about versus what has become available.

Interestingly, Trump goes on the same dementia induced ramblings on a daily basis. Are you concern trolling right now?
