I hate this day. I lost many friends. I usually mourn that day anyway. I know this is a taboo subject.. That day I was driving to my job (when I had one). I heard the news and I knew it was bad right away (not some small aircraft accident). I called friends, family, etc...then got sent home and watched the news like everyone else. My greedy trading mentality kicked in and crossed my mind though. I wasn't daytrading at the time and wasn't near a computer. Did anybody here short the shit out of the market or specific equities that day before the market closed and got your trade in (pre-market)? I don't think it opened at 9:30... But a trading question on this day and mentality of the market. We all know September and October are usually shitty months. I hate being long in the market those months and usually short. You know always anticipate a 1929 or 1987 that never happens...
