Good observation!, jem. Most Republicans live in rural trees. I doubt their is a single good Republican in all of los Angeles proper, but God help you if you're black, and you have a flat tire on a dark night out in Inyo County near Shady Rest Campground. :D

  3. You're being deliberately disingenuous. I'm quite confident you know all this but for anyone who doesn't, the Supreme Court unconstitutionally interfered in the elections process by mandating that states create safe black districts. It turned out to be a two-edged sword however, as the unintentional consequence was the creation of safe republican districts as well, since blacks vote purely along racial lines.

    >>At the heart of that debate are majority-minority districts. A 1986 Supreme Court ruling, Thornburg v. Gingles, established that where racially polarized voting
is present, it is illegal to dilute minority residents’ voting power, either intentionally or unintentionally. States across the South then drew new majority-minority districts to ensure that black voters could elect their candidates of choice. In many places, the newly drawn majority-minority districts elected those states’ first African-American congressional representatives since Reconstruction.

It was a win for African-American representation, and also a win for Republicans. By grouping together black voters, who vote overwhelmingly Democratic, the maps increased Republican electoral prospects in the surrounding districts. That dynamic has encouraged Republicans to advocate for majority-minority districts, while Democrats have been more skeptical of them.<<

One thing to mention as well AAA---A Republican authored the 14th amendment which was designed to allow slaves SOLELY birthright citizenship and thus the ability to vote. No other group gets birthright citizenship from the 14th amendment and thus the right to vote. If Dems had their way, Blacks would still not be citizens and would still not be able to vote.

I knew Mammoth Mountain and therefore Mammoth Lakes well back in the 90s and first part of the 2000s. My wife or my brother and I were up almost every weekend in the winter and we would visit in the Summer. We almost bought a house there right when the resort was sold by the McCoys.

I never saw black people get treated any differently. I am sure they did but it would have been rare and the culprit would most likely not been a democrat.

By the way LA has millions of Republicans. Who do you think runs the businesses not connected to banker money? Only 30 percent of CA pays income taxes. I will bet that list is dominated by Republicans.

Ahh, Hispanics, Asians, Arabs and African Americans maybe ??? Oh, and probably lots of illegal immigrants who invaded, then raped and murdered our young women, took our jobs, and breed anchor babies because Mexico refused to pay for "the wall". Now lefty, open-border- loving democrats, like Nancy Pelosi, and Benghazi Clinton are driving Semis in Caravans up from Guatemala and Honduras packed full of more greasy invaders.

You're delusional again. I didn't make any of this up. It is paraphrased right from your beloved President's mouth or his close house associates' mouths. Please, let's give credit where credit is due. This is the rhetoric you support by supporting your gangster President!

What are you talking about and what does it have to do with the existence of Republicans in L.A. or how black people are treated in Mammoth Lakes?

Your post sure seems to be strong candidate for another post from your PPPP.
