These left wingers don't understand how our elections work. They are whining about the popular vote from last night. It is their passive-aggressive way of not accepting election results.

Oh you right wingers are off on so many issues I wouldn’t even know where to begin. Democrats are certainly more in alignment with the founders and the spirit of the constitution than today’s republicans.

No. When it comes to the House the left has every reason to oppose gerrymandering and be right.

The House is supposed to represent the people in proportional allotment. The proportional allotment in places like North Carolina is repugnant to the founding principles.

Yes. Let me add the Senate was the original Loyalist/Tory/Conservative body. It is the appropriate place for conservative power and the House is for liberal power.

Wrong. Terrible analysis and not based on any of the actual voting in elections.

I am against gerrymandering on both sides. And, there currently is gerrymandering on both sides. However, it is disingenuous and simple-minded for you left wingers to conclude that the popular vote difference in favor of the Democrats is due to Republican gerrymandering without conducting an in-depth analysis.

That's a bit of a stretch. The left despises the First Amendment (for those with whom they disagree), the Second Amendment, Article One (two Senators from each State), the Twelve Amendment (the Electoral College and Congressional Apportionment)... and counting.

I have a feeling you’re talking about the first amendment as applies to private businesses like Facebook? If so, that is not a first amendment issue.

The standing interpretation of the second amendment as written by Scalia is abhorrent and a bastardized interpretation brought on by radicals, ignorants and gun manufacturers.

As to the electoral college, liberals aren’t doing anything about it except expressing their first amendment rights.

Please. Democrats win their districts by 70 plus percent in North Carolina while republicans win 55. That’s called packing.

If only we could return to 1792, but with penicillin of course, we'd be so much better off.
