I will welcome all these RINO liberals losing in the next election! All they do is oppose the polices of President Trump. Under the US constitution, the US President has the duty to secure the US borders! We would not even be discussing this issue if the RINO liberals provided border wall funding when the Republicans controlled both the House and Senate! It is their right to challenge it in court however, they undercut President Trump by being hostile to his policies? They should all move to the Democrat party because they are all liberals anyway!
The last time a democrat won by 10 million + votes (Obama 08) Kay Hagon won NC by 7 points.Tillis barely won in 2014 by less than 2 points and that was a republican year.If Tillis could only win by less than 2 points in a low turnout mid term republican year like 2014 I like the democrats chances in a presidential year election that the democrat presidential nominee will be winning by 10 million + votes.
Here’s the kicker, Trump may be legally in the right, at least on some of the money he has identified as a source for barrier construction. The monies he has targeted from the DEA and CBP is will most likely stand a legal challenge. The defense money he targeted most likely will not.
And since then Kay Hagan was voted out due to her poor performance in office -- she was viewed by voters in our state as serving her own ambitions and not the people of North Carolina. In his last election in 2014 Tillis was a new candidate for the Senate office; now he is an incumbent that voters in the state perceive to have served his constituents well. In a similar vein I expect that Republican (and former NC governor) will run for governor again in 2020. I expect that he will have a difficult time taking out the current Democratic governor Roy Cooper who currently is perceived in our state as being likeable and focused on the needs of the people. Some Republicans will cross the aisle to vote for Cooper in the same way that some Democrats will cross the aisle to vote for Tillis in our state. Voters in our "purple" state tend not to strictly follow party lines on their ballots.
If so, they are even bigger morons than I assumed. I would hope he gets primaried by someone with a Trumpian agenda. Whatever, Burr is almost as bad.
Tillis has a 36 % approval rating https://morningconsult.com/2018/10/10/americas-most-and-least-popular-senators-10-10/ I
Yes... which is not indicative of where things will be in 2020. Keep in mind that Congress in general has a 14% approval rating.
People have the right to vote for who they want running their political affairs. Their policies do not affect me as I do not live in their states. My only concern is the border wall. These RINO politicans make it seem they are doing the rest of us any favors, which they are not! Undercutting and opposing President Trump only helps the Democrats radical agenda.
