    even russians realized that and implemented simple,flat 13% tax on any income. dividends are taxed even less,also flat. barstool economics,you know..

    i'm seriously considering going back to mother Russia..every year all i see is more taxes and progressively more complex tax returns.

    I changed my mind. I did not realize when I wrote that, that in effect we were borrowing money to put it in the hands of consumers and that entitlement receipts were not affected. I now think it was clever and the right thing to do.

  5. you can cut social security taxes all the way to zero, and it won't affect one iota the amount in the trust fund

    and for that matter you can raise them to 10% with still no affect
