Why trade ATM here? You can short the Feb19 38/50 strangle for nearly a buck. Shares are hella volatile.

Go out another week and the 35/55 outside is 2.2!

So now we know Destriero doesn't think PLTR is worth 27 bucks a share. Well, relax big D, I have an option, so I can always go lower and get it for a price more to your liking.

I don't think PLTR is worthless. I think that you're unrealistic with your risk on any measure you'd like to use; VaR, DARTS, etc.

As he's told us before, he'd like to use no measure of risk because he prefers to keep his head in the sand when it comes to that concept.

He's bound to zero ($27K on PLTR; $42K on FUBO) but I don't get why he just goes long. Why 500 deltas on FUBO? FUBO vol over 140 so that's why I am in it, but c'mon man, there is no juice in the short put at $40 on shares.

Guys, I generally try and stay away from pointless arguments with strangers on the internet over matters which are really not that big of an issue. And I believe that every trader has the right to trade a strategy that they choose to, without having to justify it to others. I've gained a lot from this thread (and from some of the previous comments, it seems a lot of other people have benefitted as well) and I appreciate the information which the OP has posted here - he gains nothing for it, he's not doing it to satisfy any ego, or win an army of followers. Instead, he has to deal with a certain degree of toxicity.

So, it's pretty simple really - if people don't agree with his style or strategy, then there is no need for them to be on this thread wasting their own time, and that of others. Feel free to find other threads that are more to your taste, and leave the rest of us to enjoy what's on offer here.

    Happy trading.

I asked Robert why all of his positions are unimodal/bull. Nobody asked you anything, piker. I am not trolling. I am genuinely interested.

I assume the answer, if it's forthcoming, is bc he can take possession and write CC against... but then again, it's always a bull position at an edge loss.
