There was a segment on CNBC today about companies that will sell products for you on Ebay, charging roughly 30%. Does anyone remember the name of the company, or know of other companies that do this? I thought it was isellnow or something like that, but I couldn't find anything on the web using that search.

  2. There are Ebay brokers/consolidators. They take your stuff onconsignment and list/sell it on Ebay for a commission.

As supplemental income last year, I was selling DVDs on consignment. It paid the rent and it only took a few hours a week.

This was done through my friend's consignment company-- he gets wholesale DVDs in Canada for a low price, and sells then on Ebay (to primarily US customers) for the same nominal price in US$ (or more if the price gets bid up). Needless to say the current exchange rates are hurting him, but he and his partners are still making a comfortable living.

You can check out his website at www.krkmedia.com.
