Sell in May and go away, again in 2008?

Discussion in 'Trading' started by crgarcia, May 14, 2008.

  1. Sell in May worked wonderfully in 2007 (last days of May, just before the sideways choppiness / plunge).

    Again in 2008?

So far it was sell in October and buy in March.

I hope S&P will make it's run to 200MA and Nasdaq will not follow.

  3. In 2007, it was "Sell in July, buy back in August", followed by "Sell in September, buy back March next year". The month of May was not in the picture in all these trading signals.

Another set up would be nice if nasdaq will close very close to its low of the day and will gap lower tomorrow to form a one day island top. One of the best plays in the bear market.
