Like most traders...I'm sure amt4swa is on holiday vacation. Most traders should be back on Jan 4th, Monday. To wonder why he's not posting as much during the holiday schedule in comparison to his posts prior to the holidays... regardless if he's posting winners or losers...stopped out or adding is probably a waste of time. I do remember seeing somewhere that he mentioned he'll be on vacation either here at ET or in the realtime chat room. However, I don't remember if he posted a specific return date to trading. I'm assuming he's like the rest of us...back to trading on Monday. Hope all had a Happy Safe Holiday and a Happy New Year. P.S. Prior to the holiday schedule...I would see amt post more when the market went against his positions in comparison to when the market went his way... The above fact is based on what I and many others see in the realtime chat room. NihabaAshi
Just moving this thread back up. AMT seems like a nice guy, but he's been adding and adding and adding to losing positions, despite plenty of advice against this tactic from successful traders. Chris is idolized by many newbies here (Scientist, are you listening?) and hasn't posted in several weeks. Is he just on vacation, or did he get blown out? I'm not bashing or trolling (for once!) I just wanna know how the trade is going. AMT, tell us how you are doing. Thanks and good trading to you. ppp
It occurs to me that since his nickname (AMT4SWA) is his job title and he was considering leaving SWA to trade full time, he may have a new nickname now.
If you were long last year during this "seasonally strong period" you would have been dead wrong. The guy made a trade, was wrong, and presumably has been stopped out. The only thing worse than being wrong is getting a statement of this type from you. Give the guy a break. Did I missed your publicly announced long position posted here on ET???? OldTrader
I have made several "bullish" comments on this thread, simply pointing out the obvious UPTREND and SEASONALITY. As for whoever has posted on this thread about their trading style, and/or position, I have NEVER singled anyone out, nor have I been personally CRITICAL of such person. This market is climbing based on the fact that S&P EPS of $58.50 only gives it a multiple of 19.1 If such an estimate is too CONSERVATIVE and turns out to be more like $64.00 per share, 1200 on the S&P is not out of the question. All I have said all along on this thread was: THE TREND IS YOUR FRIEND!
