Plenty of people getting into Harvard with non perfect SATs. They want an interesting well rounded class, not 2000 nerds with 1600 SATs and 4.0 GPAs and nothing else to offer.
Ted Kennedy was expelled from Harvard for cheating on an exam but was later re-admitted- because.....well.....there was no Teddy without cheating. It's who he was. And he went downhill from there. At least he never killed anyone...wait...lemme think.
Oh, is that what they want, a well rounded student body? When have any of these Ivy League schools been a true representation of average America? Never! Yeah, on occasion they virtue signal as they are in Hogg's case, maybe let in a few of Joe Biden's "clean ones" as a token gesture, but what they're after are the social elites.

So this underachieving clown got into Harvard over many other students with near perfect SATs and GPAs. Many of these applicants had far more extracurricular activities and have done significantly more to contribute to their communities & the world.

Look, I agree with you here, but the Ivy Leagues are starting to look and compete for interesting people. Who knows, he may be an idiot and found out when he gets there.
Hogg is being groomed. Doors are being opened for him and he'd be a fool not to take advantage. He has a very bright and prosperous future being planned, and only he can screw it up. Right now he looks interesting. We'll see if he overplays his hand like true leftists are known to do. Time will tell.
