That's old thought. It used to be about that. Modern progressivism is more about thought and action control.

 

Laugh if you want. Social Security is the most progressive policy we have in USA. Everybody bitches about it, but very few want to eliminate it and go back to the days before it was enacted.

A conservative is just a slow moving progressive.
