What good is a tool (strategy) if you can't use it or follow it? I got dozens of strategies the make money but are not sustainably usable. Trading is about a sustainable method. Sustainable psychologically, day after day. Something you can do for months, years. So find something that fits you, even if it makes less money less frequently. Keep that as your core, and then branch out. The forums have several self congratulating posters who talk BS about how great a method, or how great they are, but they just run, fall down, walk, fall down, crawl, roll over, then repeat. That is not trading. That is self delusion mixed with too many issues to list. OTH you can try to "train" yourself to be more "disciplined". But that can be the psychologically equivalent of saying I am training to get used to stressing myself out to the point of screwing up. Why?
Best advice I can give you is, if you truly want to be a profitable day trader, hang around ET and let ET be your mentor. It is free and it worked for me. It is not easy because like joining a fraternity there are hazing, initiation gauntlets for newbies. If you persevere you will find a few willing to help, here and there, not spoon feeding or giving you their secret source but help point you in the right direction. You need a thick skin to ask for help because a lot of posters view us as their entertainment objects, instead of helping us they ridicule us. You just have to live with it. You also need to watch out for charlatans as there are a few lurking around to try separate your money from you. Beware of PM that offer "free" helps or helps with a fee.... That is how I found my edge in options and am very close to finding my edge in day trading. Do you integrate with what you are seeing and doing on the 2min with the adjacent higher time frames like a 15 minute then to a 60min, daily, weekly, monthly? Would not hurt.
Look for Tom Hougaard, selfmade millionaire from trading. And he has a proven edge around Sharpe 1.5 trading intraday stock indices. All his content also for free on youtube/telegram, with his exact strategy included. So he should be a good mentor for a beginner.
Letting the winners run is tougher to do than preach. I've watched your trading results and you are very good. I don't know if your occasional blowups are the same as mine but I figure out that if i strive for a larger daily goal of 500-700 i do not have blowups as before because now i can calmly accept the occasional big loss of 1000-2000 instead of going all in. I tend to lose interest in trading when i obtain gain of 300 but realizing this i must keep pushing on. I am doing okay but i must be burnt out because lately i have been 1.5-2 hours late to trading all five days, one even 3 hours late. Hopefully this will only be a temporary condition.

All the IV pops and drops that you are reacting to in the options market is telegraphed long before using EW...its what allows me to sell itm options confidently...like the time I sold itm MARA puts at the top of a triangle that I could see about to form, and then sold calls at the bottom...ping pong profits!
I think you are starting to realize how pointless and counter-intuitive day trading is...seen too many profits left on the table from closing positions early or getting stopped out constantly? Perhaps try swing trading?
In human visionary psychology there are concepts, figure and background, in my opinion you are absorbed by figures of day trading and every time it seems to you that today it didn't work out, but this is not a problem of my system or I will fix something there quickly. And tomorrow there will be a new game and I will succeed. But everything repeats itself again and again. If I were you, I would drop all figures and look at the background of your activity, which will show you where the truth is and where self-deception is. Honestly, I can't imagine how you can buy shares for one day, in an electronic trading system, where the music is ordered not only by people but also by algorithms. I wish you well and perfection!
