  1. Yeh, read in the newspaper that some reporters embedded with the rebels said that some of them had Afghan training and were praying with very distinct Al-Qeada influences.

  2. I see this kind of as an internal family dispute of one of your neighbors.

If his wife comes to cry on your shoulder... just do her and send her on her merry way.

No need to do her, forcefully throw her Hubby out and take over spousal duties, paying her mortgage, her life style support $, raising her kids, paying their medical and putting them through college.

Using the same reasoning, the UN can initiate a no fly zone and sanctions against virtually every African country, The Saudi's, Iran, Pakistan, North Korea, China, Cuba and any other country or leader they want to gang rape.

  4. It is the Libya oil at work; China had big contracts with Libya, its interest will be taken care of no what outcome will be. Arabs and Bin Ladin dislike Gadafi for his close ties with African Union and distance to Islamism. West will gain more oil with regime change, even Bin's dudes are in power. crazy world.

  7. If anyone is dumb enough to think this is about saving poor Libyans think again. Pull you head out. Its because they have oil. UK was embarrassed on the world stage, and the US still would like some vengeance for Pan Am.

If we cared about humanity it would the US gov. not George Clooney attempting to stop the genocide in Sudan. But alas they have no oil.

Its about oil, always has been and always will be. This aspect of the NWO conspiracy is spot on.

Think smart. You don't think our puppets in the Middle East are shitting their Depends. NATO just told all of the US puppets to bow down and remember whom their master is. The reason we allow the House of Saud to remain is the buy our weapons, the last quality American mfg products still made. We could steam roll Saudi Arabia in the blink of an eye and take their oil but it serves our interests, for now, to allow them to rule.

The US, like any other country, does what's in their self interest. And if in the course of doing that we do some good, like stopping Soviet advances post WWII then that's good too.

It's about the region's oil, not (just) Libya's.

  9. The idea of being the world's policeman is alien to the Chinese. When there is great disorder outside China, she prefers to build a Great Wall for protection, instead of spending trillions of dollars to maintain global order and becomes the target for terrorists.

What concerns the Chinese most is how to survive for the next 5,000 years and to travel to the moon and beyond. If the "barbarians" want to settle their quarrels by violent means, the Chinese have learned from their long histroy that it is often impossible to stop them.

Any way in their 5,000 years of history, the Chinese have watched them come and go.

  10. This saying that Chinese is innately inward looking and do not venture out is propagated by Chinese and some Westerners. I do not believe it, Chinese behavior is a matter of circumstance, although the circumstance may be profound and long lasting. China was surrounded by natural barriers hard to overcome in ancient times, sea on eat, frozen earth on north, dry desert on west, high mountains or rain forest on South. contemporary China is burdened by problems of raising populations living standards, and it is a better choice to exploit the cracks among the players of the world as the situation called rather than direct confrontation with any one.
China aggressiveness in doing business around the globe is a testimony against against that popular belief and a foretell of things to come.
