The right is patronizing this faux populism thats been in vogue with blaming everything on government when its corporate and their lobbyists who run government and succeeded in thoroughly subverting it. Corporate is the snakes head, government the tail. The tail can always be replaced at the pleasure of the head. Compare the balance sheets of the two; which one is in the black?
It's a valid question: Who own who? How do we know it? But, since we are spitballing here without any concrete evidence, let's remember that a significant number of Americans believe that Obama's election was clearly a coup by the likes of Soros and some ultra-liberals via most of the mainstream media. Not that I know for sure (very few do) but I'm inclined to agree, because that's the only way to explain the shameless, practically treasonous behavior of NBC, CBS and ABC, NYT, LAT, et al, who worked in unison to elect this inexperienced man to the presidency, despite his extreme positions and connections to nefarious elements of our society, like Rev Wright, Bill Ayres, etc.
