Sectors

Discussion in 'Trading' started by bungrider, Apr 2, 2002.

  1. Any easy way to get a pseudo-RT sector list (showing sectors that have biggest gains/losses- not specific - just general groups - energy, biotech, etc) without having to watch bloomberg or wade through a lot of other shite?

    Thank you.

    Hi bungrinder,

If you are looking for quick overview of sectors ( which I think,by the way,is a very important indicator ) you will find the following link usefull.

    http://www.smartmoney.com/marketmap/

Please let us know what you think. Is this what you are looking for or is it something else ?

    Good Trading All.

  3. Bungrider,

Sign up for http://finance.lycos.com/home/livecharts/default.asp[/url] which is free. Once there, you can select "Hot Lists" and then select "US Index Pct gainers or losers". You'll get a streaming update of the top or bottom sectors in relative percentages. You can probably get even more if you sign up for one of their pay services.
