Have to wonder if Citi took a shot on Wachovia expecting the bailout to pass.....wonder if they may reneg on this deal....thats would be quite the mess!! does the Citi deal still have to go to sharholders or has the Fed blessed it and thats that?
This FDIC forced marriage will not likely bring down Citi... They're only on the hook for the first 42B... tax payers are on the hook for the rest.
