    And ???

It's not something you can get rid of, if people are still going into shops, which is where it spreads, the virus doesn't care if it's a Essential Shop or a none essential shop, plus schools and businesses still open for the most part.

It's just shut the shops to finish them off and push all the xmas sales to Amazon.

In 4 weeks, they'll extend it another 4weeks over xmas, then they'll slowly ease again over the next year or 2, we are fucked!!

Because they'll claim, lockdown stopped it ( no it's stopping on it's own ) therefore we have to keep doing all the BS :(

    Yes, I'm 100% pissed OFF!!!

Yes Imperial College London have found you can catch the virus twice or more. The repeat infection can be more or less severe than the first. It could also be symptomless. Its also possible to test positive for covid cells without having even an asymptomatic infection.

    93% false positive rate.

I think I've had twice, didn't kill me 1st time, or 2nd obviously odds on it won't kill 3rd, 4th, 5th or even 20th time unless I'm dying of something by then, and if I'm dying, thanks Covid for less suffering.

    Covid, legal euthanasia!

I doubt it will continue after December 2nd. There is a lot of concern about the impact on the economy in the backbenches of the Prime Minister's own party, so the political will to continue will stop it.

Apparently the mechanisms why some people get a really sever infection after a mild one, or a mild infection after a really severe one, are not yet understood.

It seems if we don't get a vaccine soon, we will either all die of covid or we will all die of stuff that would have been treatable but for the hospitals being full of covid patients. At some point we will reach such a low level of human population that the virus will become extinct.

    Lol

    Add in extra fear here!

The people argueing against lockdo2n said already peaked, hospitals not at risk, massive damage and little good, even WHO is against lockdowns and 6000 doctors have signed a petition saying it's not that bad, shield the at risk and let it spread and still only 38 voted against.

Schools open, big super spreading food shops open which where the main spreader, but much less used shops all closed, good logic, everyone still go to work unless you can work from home.

Definitely just to boost Amazon sales through the roof.

2021 fucked, bet lockdown goes over xmas, although makes every day like xmas, ie boring as fuck!

its true that lockdowns only delay the inevitable, while damaging the economy to such an extent that we will see extra deaths and extra illness etc. anyway, which we will nor even be able to afford to treat even if the hospitals were empty.

Not having a lockdown would not prevent a continuing cycle of excess deaths, clogged ICU's and a damaged economy as high street, travel and hospitality trade dries up.

Right now, there does not seem to be an exit strategy from the covid situation with or without lockdowns. I can't therefore really object to one or t'other policy.

You've not kept upto date on the stat's have you.

1st it's only the relatively small, Shielding group that it's going around, in the south there less as it got there first so the shielding was less effective, which you can see in hospital admissions here.

    https://www.england.nhs.uk/statistics/statistical-work-areas/covid-19-hospital-activity/

More are actually being released from hospitals than admissions currently.

BBC news posted 2 articles today.

Things they aren't telling you, interesting read.

Hospitals aren't at risk, from the hospital boss has been deleted typical, so just the 1.

Cases are coming down, hospital addmissions are pretty flat, should start turning down this week, deaths will peak end of next.

With or Without Lockdown this is very weak lockdown so minimal effect ( just crippling shops and pubs ), mid Jan this should all be over and back to average 10deaths per day.

Also deaths are average for the time of year per day, and strangely there are zero Flu deaths this year.

The NHS projections, even for the south-west with very low current case incidence, are that all hospital capacity in all regions will be overwhelmed if we do nothing.

Unfortunately, we are stuck in the position of either doing something which will eventually be found to not work, or not doing anything, which will very quickly be found not to have made any positive difference.

Not in the news release that got pulled, that's just Boris.

They've been saying for 2 months September and October if we don't lock down there will be 1000's of deaths daily and that never happened, they where saying 4000 per day aswell, which is being reduced likely 500 top end.

It'll take 3 weeks for the lockdown tomorrow to effect Hospital admission, so if that dropping before 3 weeks then Lockdown wasn't required, we'll see.

2nd November number was +1331 cases, see what it is on the 23rd's data.

Everyone is at work, most where at home if possible anyway, schools still open, Tesco's still open, the difference is so minimal spread wise and very very few will be not visit there friends this time around, we are all fed up and fairly sure being lied to.
