No, the data was not fraudulently manipulated. You are being fooled by fossil fuel industry and related interests propaganda. CO2, next to the sun, is the main driver of long term climate change. Other more localized data was also manipulated by adjusting to a new base but not adjusting the historical base thus giving the impression to anyone not aware of the adjustment that there was a big jump in temperatures from the 70's. The investigation only found nothing was criminal since they obviously manipulate data regularly. They also attempted, successfully, to stop the publication of research papers that offered dissenting view points. CO2 as a minute trace gas has almost no impact on global temperatures despite what you have been brainwashed into believing. Water vapor is magnitudes more important as is solar and cosmic ray variations. Water vapor averages 20,000 parts per million while CO2 averages less than 400 parts per million. That's a factor of 50 to 1. CO2 makes a negligible impact on temperatures and man's contribution to CO2 is even more miniscule. The only one here with a political bias about global temperatures is you. It feeds your political desire to help the Democraps tax and redistribute wealth.
