I think the real question is are we getting our money's worth?? I mean, are they stopping illegal activities?? (I doubt that) And if they are receiving money from fines, why not apply that to their budget and offest that by keeping our fees low?? nobody can say this is a small amount. Over the course of a year it is significant for any pro trading decent size. If it were 5% increase, like another 50 cents, fine, but this is crazy!!!
