SEC specialist investigations moving to U.S. options exchanges

  1. that wud be good news but not enough of a good 1; smart wud be good if u cud allow to exclude any exch and leave only 2 as your choice for routin'. unfortunatley we know it is a business decision of ib to leave philly as one of the main routes on smart.

  5. Does anyone know what % of IB trades are routed to PHIL, and what % of trades they receive pmt for order flow?

    Does this all mean the exchange is supporting "good deals" for the market maker and broker (pmt for order flow) at the expense of the customer? Conspiracy between the exchange and MM??

  6. ja, but is not exactly a conspiracy [i hope]; just that ib gets paid for order flow and since reps told us [me] thers no evidence of philly low standards they say theres not enough of a good reason to offer us an opportunity to get rid of the exch from smart.
