DK if you are aware. But, many mutual funds, pension ..etc often have in the charter something like " the moment the SEC charges a company with fraud..DUMP IT..sort out the new later" Paraphrased of course.
Jail, LOL , all this government wants is a huge fine!!!!! It is purely the government taking something that is not yet in their possession
Everything comes in three. There is almost no chance this is the end of it. Think correlated stocks or firms (Citadel, MS, Citi etc.) Smart trading firms are guessing the next wave of fraud announcements.
About time! Now let's see some criminal charges for economic terrorism. If there isn't such a crime, there should be. GS and others, with intent and malice, knowingly commited crimes against humanity which has resulted in the destruction of global economies, and a loss of trillions of dollars world wide. Tens, if not hundreds of millions of lives have been dealt undo hardship to which we still don't know the full impact. Tens of thousands of businesses have been lost, life savings destroyed, plans, dreams, hope for the future...all lost. No doubt thousands of lives have ended due to their criminal activity. Increases in suicide, alcohol and drug addiction, domestic violence, violent street crime, etc., all directly realted to their criminal activity. Convictions for such crimes should result in life sentences, or death penalties. The sooner, the better.
Goldman Sachs Vice President Fabrice Tourre has gotta be kickin himself right now. If he had only hidden the files with Obama's birth certificate, nobody would have ever seen them.
Honestly, this sounds like a bogus witch hunt. GS's entire business is a conflict of interest. They are always on the other side of everything they sell to clients. Sounds stupid to me.
Lol. GS will pay a $300 million fine a few weeks before the election. Nothing more than a late night snack.
Mark Haines @ CNBC thinks Hank Paulson is involved. lmao, you can't write fiction this entertaining. Bye Blankfein.
