They can only do this if people from these places apply. I am sure they would love to follow from GS. This would only be possible if someone from these places responds to the casting calls.
Big firms require a lot of compliance hurdles to jump through whenever a rep is dealing with the public. When I was at Merrill I did a "Daily Market Wrap" on a local radio station. I had to get the idea cleared through compliance and every day the office complaince (aka anti-biz guy) had to proofread the script. I did get a few clients out of it but also got a lot of people calling for me to repeat the fact that CommerceOne was up 80points on that day. It would be unlikely WSW would have a shot at filming the GS desk.
Goldman would die for the chance to be on WSW. these guys fight each other for a chance at CNBC or Bloomberg. upticky JJ knows nothing about what he speaks. What did he last one year at merril know he is the xpert? LMAO! BB
He is the worst stock pimp in the history of stock pimps. "Shove it down their throats." ---- definitely something you don't say on TV even that is true. Duh.... Funny thing is that he has a very clean U4. I see working at Etrade's Call Center in his near future.
The guy is a freaking millionarie. a star that you can only dream about. only one working atcall center is updick.
I have a feeling most of the guys making sour remarks about the CIG guys are just a bunch of guys who could not cut it on the retial side of business. They probaly are the ones who passed their 7 with a 95 and lasted three weeks. I dont understand it. The guys on here constantly talk down on a guy who makes close to a mil a year with a CLEAN record. If his record is clean he must be doing something right. As I recall the dude does have a degree. The reason why they use the same "boiler room lines" is because THEY WORK. I hate to break the news to the "haters" but many of these small house guys are being recruited by the "real firms", Some go while some dont want to start over and give up their 6 and 7 figure earnings to make 40k and 1% a year.
The guy might make good dough, but what about having a conscience? This guy would sell crappy stocks to investors and not care what happens to them. I felt sorry for that investor that put a lot of dough into SNDK. He lost a bundle.
