  3. what I am trying to understand is why

why would someone want to come out of the shadows and expose themselves on a program like this, if they weren't expecting some marketing or sales residuals to come to their company or prestige

  4. Thoughts on last night's episode:

Laetitia goes to Paris for an interview. Gets a job offer on the spot and doesn't take it because... the hours are too long??? She wants to work in finance but is not sure about the workload? That schedule seems pretty light compared to some investment banking jobs on Wall Street. Not sure what she expected from it but her Paris opportunity seemed like a perfect starter job for her degree and good pay too (in Euro!). So, I'm guessing she turns down the job in Paris after the two weeks and ends up back in NYC trading retail forex??? Wow! Her parents must be thrilled.

Lance and Jim were predictable bag holders with their SNDK position. Looks like they bought up all the way to the top and then held on when the market gave them multiple chances to get out. I loved their reaction after the earnings release. Duh!! Next week should be the final reckoning for them and SNDK.

I almost dozed off during Brett's segment so not much to say there. Larry's segment was pretty interesting. We get to see his daily routine and home life in Westchester County. Overall, a pretty good episode of WSW I thought.

Bobby G was really boring this week so not much to say there.

Laetitia - wants to hang out with her friends, yada yada, won't last any longer then she did in the Big Apple. Just say no.

Larry - The real deal. Plays all sides.

Brett - Same, the real deal. Works his balls off, strong civic responsibilities, typical overachiever. If you need something done, give it to a busy person. He's real busy.

Lance - I served with Gordon Gekko: I knew Gordon Gekko; Gordon Gekko was a friend of mine. Lance, you're no Gordon Gekko. Get a haircut!

  6. She's French, they are the ones that came up with the 35 hour work week and I forget how much, but some absurd amount of vacation

  7. Larry's segment was quite interesting,

especially love those half day hours, and getting out while the sun is still shining,,,,

where do I apply for a job like that?

    anybody get those numbers,
he was down, what?, some $974,000- and

made it back and then some the next trading day? +$174,000?

Yep, Larry segment was really interesting, especially when he was describing how they trick each other with fake offeers and aid of brokers. I guess it shows true color of the floor rather then that BS about happy family portrayed in earlier episodes. When you are out there to take someone elsew money, there is no way they can be your friends, it just gets too personal with hate and jelousy.
