Lance and a couple other guys from his group go to my gym. I've never had any extensive conversations with them, but can't say anything bad about they way they conduct themselves. I haven't seen Jim there for a few months.
Jim actually looked like a solid guy you'd like to work with. The rest... not so much. Oh and according to my facebook news feed, Laetitia Vaval and Tim Sykes are now friends. how cute.
Looks like he made a complete career change...Wonder why??? "Our future rests in the hands of Sandisk" Also, I didn't know there was a lot of surfing and snowboarding to be had near NYC .
Looks like Steve Austin also made a career change.... must be getting tough at WWE http://www.lombardstreetresearch.co...count_team.html
Looks like he finally unhitched his wagon from cold-calling hell so now he can stop saying phrases like "wood" "step up to the plate" and "be a big boy" and babysitting 20-something year old wannabees that make 500 calls a day looking for the one gullible fish.
Watching episode 6 now as the market drops nicely.... cringing everytime TOOL BRETT comes on and the Southern Cold Call Twins... Well not much substance on this one. Tool Brett again being showed on personal outings as opposed to the business of running a fund. The Southern Cold Call Twins fully erect that SNDK is at 56 - 59 or so which is good for them since they did put their ass on the line. My respect would stay with them if they actually got their clients out before it tanked and I doubt they did and I am sure we will never get the true story of how SNDK ran back to $43 and below. Finally more glimpses into the pits and then lets follow the cotton option pit broker watering plants and drinking beer made from Jersey water??? Latitty leaves for Paris to get a job doing what she is probably more trained to do, analyst. This is like a trian wreck I cannot take my eyes away from. I would feel better about it if it had more SUBSTANCE of wall street instead of a view into the personal lives of fake tools.
Come to think of it, we never really see Bobby Genovese doing much work either. Mostly he is just going around and visiting each one of his 10 homes or socializing. I'll give private equity folks one thing, their social calendars and schedules are a lot better than most of the traders out there.
