  1. If she's trading fx and blogging about it, you gotta know she's seen this thread too.

So, she, Laetitia Vaval, started working for SMB right after graduation (June?), dropped out after a couple of weeks, started papertrading forex in September and went live in October. According to her blog it seems like she's still struggling this January.

Well, what is there to say...

  4. Well good luck to Laetitia then. Maybe all of this is a part of her journey and it seems that she still wants to trade and be a trader.

Because from how she is portrayed on the show, it seems like she really doesn't want to be in the trading side of finance in anyway.

  5. Laetitia in my opinion will fail miserably in her trading career. No confidence. You see how mopey she looks ALL of the time. LOL.

And is it just me or did the cotton options broker admit that cheating goes on in the options pit. Whenever someone looses money to accomadate a fellow trader or broker, you don't think they expect something in return later, maybe a little selective treatment. Screw open auction, I hope it all goes electronic, and they are all outta the job...options pits are rigged, you stand next to a broker, suck his john, and beg for free money all day. Yea it serves a purpose, and customers probably get good fills. But electronic is more way more efficient. Look at stock options and how they are all electronic. Level the playing field.

  6. I think she has a better chance then the average woman just b/c she doesn't appear to be caught up in drama and other irrational behavior. Maybe this is creative editing, but I’ll give her the benefit of doubt. I thought it was pretty funny during her evaluation when after only two weeks they wanted to know if she could make it in this business. Honestly, some do this for a long time and still fail, especially if you’re starting out scalping. She’s only 21! She has plenty of time to learn. She’s no Timmay, but that probably works to her advantage :)

Hopefully she’ll get a real job and do trading on the side so she doesn’t have to trade w/ scared money. Laetitia, if you are reading this thread, building a winning position is smart but don’t keep your stops above your initial entry. Tighten!. And don’t trade based on the opinion of others' (dailyfx)

    Stay away from Timmay too!

In this episode the price reached $57, 16 points since they started pitching it, and pretty close to last year's high of $59.
Instead of getting out, this is the point where they can actually get in more investors easier, because the pitch line could go like this:

"Hi, remember my advice 2 months ago? Yes, SNDK, now it is up almost 40% and you could have made that money with us."

This week Bobby G: Adventure capitalis beat again WSW with the Naturally Enchanced girls... :)

  9. Just use your head. He is not the top guy at the fund, he seems to be like the apprentice under the real fund manager. I'm sure he has some net worth, his salary must be mid six figs or close.

Seems like most of his work is primarily networking and looking for more potential investors, with some minor work in meeting with potential investment opportunities. I doubt he makes the actual decisions.

  10. Looking at FINRA.... the Chicago Investment Group segment seems to have some changes today.

Lance is still around yet Jim Ayers has left the business around December 2007.
