SEASON 2, thursday TV WALLSTREET WARRIORS

  1. That's funny since he is from Canada.

Either way, I think it's foolish to expect someone who seeks to be on TV about their job to be humble in any way. Self-Selection Bias.

Can you ever really say that the truly rich only do this or act this way...of course not.
Yes you do have people like Warren Buffet who eat at the same steak house every week, live in the same house he bought for 30k and drives a cadilac I belive. But then you also have billionaires like like Calvin Ayre who spend 40k a night on hotel rooms or Hugh Hefner spending a million dollars a week on a Yatch vacation. Many of these people also have millions of dollars in cars and houses with crazy "toys"....Bill Gates has a room that adjust to your body temp. I mean its not only young people trying to show flash that keep prices of Ferrari, lambos and 7,000 a month one bedroom apartments in downtown Manhattan with crazy views going.

That's nonsense...i don't know where you live but image means a lot to a lot of people. I know of a lot of people that live beyond their means just for meaningless objects, like a car.

And i don't know what you guys have against Brett, he seems like he's for real giving his background and how hard he's worked to get where he is. There's absolutely nothing wrong with driving a ferrari if you can afford it, i'm sure some of you guys have driven high performance sports cars.

  5. I understand showing off the fancy cars and all, but cutting your shoelaces with scissors coz your in a hurry? That's a bit too much for me. Only on television...

  6. It probably took him longer to find a pair of scissors than it would have to just untie his laces.

Also, I agree with one of the previous posters about his constant tardiness. Very unprofessional.

  10. Well....

The most interesting segments of the show at the moment is the rookie at SMB Capital and the Boiler Room replay with Lance & Co.

Very interesting to see how that would turn out.
